Info about SW version on Traveller release

Hi,

I was under the assumption to use the traveller version release 11.02.2003. By checking out the info - about - function

I can see Sw version beta 1.0.4. 08.02.2003.

 

I did an autoupdate of the box 2x using my gateway, the file download is perferct and I did perform a flash erase when the box booted.

 

Now my question is, does every new release has the new info in the info - about - screen <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />

 

This is what I would expect and I may have done something wrong when I updated. My box is running fine but I still have the problem to format my disk, this is why I am asking because release 11.02 should correct that problem and now I am not sure which release I have on the box.

What do you see when you boot the box?

I have seen this 1 time on my box where the internet update would not update, alltough the software said the upgrade went fine. When i used the DreamUpLan the upgrade went in fine ... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />

When the box boots up I get the picture with the following:

 

emu beta104a.5 with internet key update 02.08.2003

 

That was the release I put on on Monday using DreamUPLAn, since then I updated 2x with version 11.02 via gateway, but I see no changes.

Yo e_guru,

 

The 08/02/2003-release has a bug in it's upgrade-function, which causes it to crash instead of actually updating. You should use Dreamuplan to upgrade to a later release. After that, you should be able to upgrade from the menu again.
