Wat is het voordeel hiervan?

Als je een router heb dan heb je dat toch ook?

ik zie het nut er ook niet van in. als je je db aan je netwerk knoopt (wat de meesten toch hebben) kan je alle plugins/updates/keys toch zo van het internet snaaien en via ftp erin knallen ?
